September 2-Potomac Valley Surveys conducts topographical survey for Site Plan
September 10-Provide Bracing Plan and Thermal Envelope Plan to DPS
September 17-DPS accepts all plans during prescreening
September 23-Meet with ICF contractor to go over plans
October 10--Hired Winter and Associates as our LEED rater
October 25-Sediment, Site and Construction Permits Approved

December 22-Stouffer Landscape excavates home

December 31-Bobby Jones Plumbing installs plumbing under basement slab
January - Second Web cam Installed
January - Bill Naegeli and crew poured the basement slab with 2 in of rigid foam under entire slab
January - Bill starts putting up the BuildBlock ICF walls in the basement
January - Pump and concrete trucks pour 30 yards of concrete into the ICF walls with Helix
January - Matt Unkle and his crew frame the basement and the first floor
February - Bill and crew set the first floor ICF walls, and cut and buck all the doors and windows
February - More yards of concrete fill in the first floor ICF and Helix
February - Weatherseal Construction puts eco friendly waterproofing and dimple membrane on basement walls to grade
February - Cary Stouffer and crew backfill mounds of dirt and dig 16 footers for porch and deck
February - Matt started framing the first floor
March - The roof goes up.
April - Exterior stone work with stone from Irwin Stone commences.
April - EDGE ENERGY joins the GreenCasa Team for our energy monitoring needs.

May - SaverSystems helps GCM out big time with Defy Extreme Wood Stain!
June - Fire sprinkler system and internal plumbing and electrical work starts.
June - Exterior red cedar porch, siding and rail work continues.
July - Stone work for rear patio starts, and interior "green tile" from Daltile work begins.
July - GCM gets a nice article written about us in the local Cabin John Newsletter! Read it here.
August - "Princess" red cedar balcony work finished up, must see the pictures!
August - Defy Extreme Wood Stain from SaverSystems.com work on deck, railings and siding.

October - GCM constructs exterior structure to store landscaping materials and more.

December - GCM's real cedar deck and railings featured on Best Deck Railing Products website!
January - GCM's newest sponsor, Vintage Lumber, delivers yellow pine flooring reclaimed from old barns and other structures.
January - CraftMart partners with GCM for custom stairs.
February - Roberts NO VOC floor adhesive used to affix reclaimed yellow pine flooring to basement floor.
February - Whole Heart Farm donates cedar harvested locally and responsibly.
February - Fortress Railing Products donates beautiful glass side railings for stairs.
April - GCM to conduct tour for CertainTeed, manufacturer of sustainable durable surfaces and countertops made with recycled glass.
